The Mission Statement
My mission is to help people improve their fitness so they can navigate life's unpredictable terrain and build a solid foundation, and possible reach their fittest they have ever been.
I view training and movement as tools for learning, growth, and better decision-making, which in most cases lead to improved health, strength, and confidence. The hardest thing to do and the right thing to do are usually the same thing—embracing this mindset will empower you to transform challenges into opportunities for success and personal development.
My approach brings training back to basics with simple, effective methods accessible to everyone—from beginners to advanced. Utilizing minimal equipment like dumbbells, sandbags, gymnastic rings, jump rope, slam balls and the surroundings around us, I aim to build both strength and resilience in whatever conditions you might have available.
Each training session is designed to help groups refine their movements, strengthen their bodies, and develop a solid foundation for ongoing progress in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Meet Your Trainer
I'm Julius Kristian Hindø, the founder of Aarhus Training Collective, and I bleed for training others - especially those who also are eager to learn.
I’ve been a functional trainer since 2012. In addition to my work as a trainer and coach, I've pursued a career as a CrossFit athlete by competing at both national and international levels as both individual and in a team.
Over the years, I've served as a coach at three different CrossFit affiliates, taking on the role of head coach at two of these locations.
Last year I completed my master's degree in human physiology at Aarhus University, which has given me confidence to dose the necessary training for you.
Currently I live in Aarhus with my girlfriend, Emilie, who is a doctor at Randers Hospital. We’ve just welcomed our first son and are enjoying this new chapter of our lives together.
